Country Bumpkin Pumpkin Bread

We know pumpkin and we know bread, so believe us when we say this is the best pumpkin bread we’ve ever had! This bread tastes like you’re eating Fall. Its super moist and the flavor is pumpkin perfection. Top it off with Sunday’s special Honey Cinnamon Glaze and you’ve got a treat perfect for any fall occasion!

Pumpkin Bread

Pumpkin Bread Recipe:

½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup dark brown sugar
1 cup + 1½ Tbsp all-purpose flour
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
1 large egg
¾ cup pumpkin puree
⅓ cup oil
⅓ cup water

In a large bowl, combine both sugars, flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and spices.
In another bowl, combine egg, pumpkin puree, oil and water. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
Grease one 9×4 loaf pan and pour the batter into it.
Bake at 350 F  for 45-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Let cool completely.

Honey Cinnamon Glaze

1 ½ Cup powdered sugar

2 Tablespoon honey

½ teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla

¼ Cup milk

In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients.  Drizzle over cooled bread and Enjoy!!
